Holy Fuck

HOLY FUCK

Holy Fuck explore a unique and propulsive vein of experimental rock‘n’roll electronica.

The Juno and Polaris-nominated band uses live instrumentation and miscellaneous instruments and non-instruments (including a 35 mm film synchronizer, toy keyboards and toy phaser guns) to achieve electronic sounding effects without the use of laptops or programmed backing tracks.

Their dynamic improvised live show has energized 100’s of thousands of people around the world and earned them an army of fans that includes Radiohead and Lou Reed.

Their most recent album is Latin.

EMM GRYNER

EMM GRYNER

Emm Gryner is a mercurial presence on the music scene and a conjurer of bewitching imagery and addictive melodies.

With a decade’s worth of ferocious self-sufficiency as an independent artist, she’s released records on both sides of the Atlantic on her Dead Daisy label, and followed her muse. She’s backed David Bowie on tour, providing backing vocals, keyboards and clarinet, co-hosted the CBC Radio show, Under the Covers, with Danny Michel, and recently appeared in the movie One Week with Joshua Jackson.

Bono named Emm’s Almighty Love as one of the songs of the last 20 years that he wishes he had written! Emm performs Almighty Love on The Side Street Project in an exclusive collaboration with Holy Fuck and Buck 65.

Her album Gem & I is available from September 28, 2010.

Her most recent release is a “Best Of” collection.
